I love to E-A-T. I get just as excited eating at a food stand as I do at a fancy restaurant. Growing up, grocery stores were magical places filled with mystery and wonder for me. Not much has changed. Farmer’s Markets? I was strolling those with mom and dad before they were cool. Now my husband takes me and we call it a date. Big budget or no budget, to me it’s not an excuse to make bad food. I’ve made just as many amazing cheap meals as I have made expensive ones. At the end of the day, I cook because it makes me happy. I find comfort in food and in its power to bring people together.
